Synthesis Monodispersed Nanocarbon Spheres by a Hydrothermal Approach
CNSs( carbon nanospheres )with narrow size distribution were prepared by a simple hydrothermal treatment of glucose at 180-210 ℃. Effects of experimental parameters, including the concentration of glucose, temperature and hydrothermal reaction time, were investigated systematically. SEM results showed that CNSs with perfect spherical morphology can be obtained. Based on FT-IR spectrum analysis, it can be concluded that reactive functionalities including hydroxyl, carbonyl, carboxyl groups were located on the surface of carbon spheres and the formation of aromatic compounds and aromatic clusters, which can also be demonstrated by XRD. The possible formation mechanism of CNSs was proposed.
