Synthesis of New-type Chiral N-alkyl Nopinanamines
N-alkyl-nopinanamines is the main component of turpentine β-pinene derivatives, is a class of optically active base. Using chiral centers of nopinanamines, which be a good optical resolution agent, while nopinanamines and some amine salts also have biological activity, also as excellent antimicrobial agents and pesticides. Among many natural products, alkaloidal compounds often have good biological activity, also have good results in the antibacterial and sterilization. It is reported that some terpenoids have antibacterial and antifungal activity, such as citronellal, citral and so on. In addition, it also can be used as resists, flotation agents, anti-rust agents, lubricants and paper sizing agents. Among many natural extracts, β-pinene is the main component of turpentine, which is the most abundant monoterpene of turpentine, 10 million tons per year. Synthesis of series of similar chiral alkaloids with the unique chiral structure of β-pinene, which is screened the compounds of high efficient sterilization and antibacterial activity, overcomed the less antimicrobial agent source and the shortcomings of higher prices of natural alkaloids sterilization. At the same time, it is important to broaden the use of our renewable resources.
