Three Dimensional OLED Displays with Depth-Sensitive Multi-Touch
OLED displays are thin by nature and can be made transparent. Stacking several layers of the same, one over the other, would make it possible to show a threedimensional display that carries all the advantages of OLEDs as opposed to traditional LCD and Plasma Displays. These OLEDs are made using the Triplet Triplet Annihilation (TTA) method a.k.a Annihilationassisted Up-conversion. Such displays are transparent and use less power (20mW per cm2). The creation of such a 3D display would be revolutionary in the field of display technology. This paper aims to compare proposed solution to existing technologies.
