Kinetics of Absorption of carbon dioxide of aqueous solution of 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol

Kinetics of Absorption of carbon dioxide of aqueous solution of 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol was investigated at 303K using the mechanically agitated contactor. It was demonstrated that the kinetics region of absorption CO2 into aqueous AMP was the fast pseudo-first order reaction regime. The mass transfer-reaction kinetics equilibrium model according to the film theory was satisfactory to represent CO2 absorption into aqueous AMP. The model predictions had been found to be in good agreement with the experimental results. And the proposed model could handle the prediction much more effectively when CO2 loading was much smaller Kinetics of Absorption of carbon dioxide of aqueous solution of 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol.
