MEASUREMENT OF PVT PROPERTY OF HYDROGEN AT HIGH PRESSURES UP TO 100 Mpa AND DEVELOPMENT OF A VIRIAL EQUATION OF STATE

Hydrogen energy is expected to be a next generation clean energy carrier, and the thermodynamic properties of hydrogen are required at high temperatures and high pressures. In the present work, the PVT properties of hydrogen in the temperature range from 353 K to 473 K and at pressures up to 100 MPa were measured by the Burnett method. In addition, a virial equation of state (EOS) from 220 K to 473 K and up to 100 MPa was developed based on the present measurements and other existing measurements at low temperatures.
