DEDUCTION OF A TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT METHOD WITHOUT RADIOMETRIC CALIBRATION
The technology of Radiation Thermometry based on the Colourometry can measure the temperature of a blackbody exactly without radiometric calibration. Also it is unaffected by the distance and direction of measurement. According to the equation of radiation transfer in temperature measurement, there are several conditions for the technology. The measurement wave band must be in the window band of radiative transfer media, and the radiation of measured objective must be integrated in the measurement wave band. Furthermore there have to be at least two linearly independent measurements of the objective’s radiation in the measurement wave band, and the data need to be normalized. Radiation of the objective is related to Planck law and emissivity. The emissivity of continuous radiation can be formulated in a series function of wavelength, and that of monochromatic radiation or zonal radiation should use the reform of δ-function. By using narrow wave band, this technology can measure the objective not only whose radiation is continuous in the measurement wave band but also whose radiation has two monochromatic or zonal spectrums in that. The instrument for the temperature measurement method needs no radiometric calibration, but its linearity and spectral response should be calibrated yet. This technology is unaffected by non-spectral parameters, such as distance, direction, aperture, exposure time and so on. So it is very flexible when being used.
