Perception of the Fire Fighters about Disaster Response
Aiming for increasing the effectiveness of disaster responses,this study analyzed social capital and investigated how to expand it for effective disaster responses.the schemes of expanding social capital for disaster responses were suggested: first,to construct the network with public-private organizations; second,to facilitate the collective activities related to disaster responses; third,to make up the trust between public organizations; fourth,to facilitate the network between public organizations; fifth,to expand the participation between public organizations; sixth,to collect various opinions related to disaster responses; seventh,to ensure the preparation of resources for large-scale disaster responses; finally,to make up the trust between fire-fighting and private organizations.
