Development of Open-architecture Motion Controller for Experimental Equipment

To address the traditional limitations of numerical experimental equipment, with the current trends of the openmotion system, an efficient experimental equipment of open motion control system was developed. With PC as the platform, PMAC-motion-control card as the core, BP network as the PID regulator, the motion control system was operational and functional. Experiments show that the system with the speed of up to 0. 5 m/s, the velocity error of less than 5%, the transition time of less than 0.1s, position error of less than 1mm. It can achieve not only the customization of the human-machine interface, and the parameterization of the real-time control parts, but also the exact travel path, the fast response, high accuracy positioning and other performance.
