Discussed on the factors to affect the Sediment Delivery Ratio under Single Rainfall Events in Hilly-Gullied Loess Region
Taking Qiaogou watershed in the hilly-gullied Loess region as study area and based on the observation data from natural runoff plots built on different landscape position and hydrological station. the sediment delivery ratio under single rainfall events (SDR) were calculated. Using statistical and correlation analysis, the dominant factors to affect the sediment delivery ratio were determined. Analysis results showed that rainfall characteristics, runoff, peak discharge and sediment concentration are the major factors to affect the SDR in this valley. In the end, referring to the form of silt transport capacity formula, the sediment delivery ratio formula was put forward by adopting the parameters such as rainfall peak coefficient. runoff erosivity power and relative bulk density of sediment et al.
