Study of relationship between soil particle composition and soil organic carbon、total nitrogen in wind-water erosion crisscross region,China
Based on a study of slopes (agricultural land and sparse grassland) of Liudaogou Watershed in the windwater erosion crisscross region on the Loess Plateau, changes of soil particle composition. different spatial distribution of soil total nitrogen(STN) and organic carbon(SOC)and correlation among them were analyzed. The results showed that: (1) soil particle composition of the same slope(agricultural land or sparse grassland) did not change significantly, but that of different slopes(agricultural land and sparse grassland) changed significantly, the slope of sparse grassland was mainly gravel and physical sand, the slope of agricultural land was mainly physical clay and physical sand. (2) the soil organic carbon(SOC) and total nitrogen(STN) of agricultural land and sparse grassland in the same layer were at different levels: the content of agricultural land was 2 times of that of sparse grassland, the content of soil organic carbon(SOC) and nitrogen(STN) of slopes with a depth of O-1Ocm was about 3 times of that of slopes with a depth of 10-20cm. (3) the law of the contents of soil organic carbon(SOC) and total nitrogen(STN) of the slope of agricultural land showed differently from the top of the slopes to the foot, so did the slope of sparse grassland. (4) the contents of organic carbon(SOC) and total nitrogen (STN) of the two slopes were significantly negative correlation with content of sand, however, positive correlation with silt and clay.
