The Ecological Service Value Estimation and Analysis of Soil and Water Conservation Function of Forest Ecosystem in Hebei Province
Soil and water conservation is one important ecological functions of forest ecosystem, which can effectively reduce soil erosion and land degradation caused by extrinsic forces such as water and wind force. Its absolutely significant for the govemance and restoration of degraded land in mountainous areas, hilly areas and sandy areas. The accurate and objective valuation of soil and water conservation functions ecological service value is important to protect forest resources, play the key role of soil and water conservation and protect the soil and water resources. Summarizing the relevant research at home and abroad, the paper estimates the ecological service value of the main soil and water conservation functions of forest ecosystem in Hebei, China, including water conservation, soil conservation, nutrient accumulation and action of forest against natural calamities. The results indicate that the ecosystem service value of soil and water conservation function of forest ecosystem in Hebei Province is 13.0616 billion Yuan per year. In the four main functions, the order is water conservation, action of forest against natural calamities soil conservation, and nutrient accumulation.
