Benefit Evaluation of geogrid sand-barrier on Controlling Wind Based on Radial Basis Function Interpolation

It is indicated that geogrid sand-barrier of 1.5×1.5m-2×2m-1×1m is the best compound mode, through observing the wind speed within the geogrid sand-barrier on field in Hunshandake sand dune. By use of Surfer (8.0) for the wind speed flow chart, basing on radial basis function (RBF) method, analyses the wind-breaking effects systematically. The result shows as following: when the field wind speed was larger than leaving speed, the geogrid sand-barrier could bring obvious change of wind speed both inside and outside system. The 200cm high wind speed present in the system of control sand, the former is increasing, the latter is decreasing and inside is smooth, but 50cm high wind speed tend to smooth and steady; otherwise, study on the wind-breaking effects of geogrid sand-barrier. The result also shows that: the roughness length of earths surface is smooth in the former barrier of 1-5m, inside of the barrier increase obviously, back of the barrier to lower is over 35.7%, but still higher 1.4 times than field wind speed.
