Three legumes consuming of soil water on highland of Loess Plateau
Three legumes using and consuming of soil water on the highland of Loess Plateau were observed by 2 seeding modes in three densities in a field experiment. It was showed that Alfal.fa s soil water consuming depth was 2-3m mostly, but the deepest had gotten to Sm. Its soil water content in medium and high density were both blow the soil water steady content, having began to form dry layer in lower profile. Astragelus adsurgens mainly consumed 0-2m depth soil water. Its lowest water content (11.61 %)appeared at 80-100cm, which could be restored to above the steady content level. Lespedeza davurica absorbed Im upside soil water mainly and even its lowest water content was above the steady content. Both increasing density and commixing could increase legumes water consuming, but the effects vary with component species, mixing mode, densities and so on.
