Effect of different no-tillage patterns on anti-water erosion of sloping land
The study was conducted on typical dry sloping land in Qingshuihe county of Inner Mongolia during 2004-2006. it studied the effect of no-tillage with low stubble, low stubble with residue cover, high stubble with residue cover, no-tillage with high stubble and conventional tillage on water erosion. The results shows that: There is a positive correlation among rainfall, rainfall intensity, slop and soil erosion. High stubble with residue cover, low stubble with residue cover, no-tillage with low stubble and no-tillage with high stubble decreased surface runoff by 24.23%、21.17%、8.37% and 4.50% than that of traditional tillage, soil loss amount decreased by 21.43%、18.57%、8.10% and 4.29% than that of traditional tillage on August 13, 2006 when the rainfall intensity was biggest. High stubble with residue cover and low stubble with residue cover have significantly decreased soil and water erosion.
