Distinguishing the keystone species in the main stream of the Yellow River
Protecting keystone species is one of important ways to keep Yellow River healthy. On the basis of biology investigation information in different years in the main channel of Yellow River, at first, based on the food web of aquatic ecosystem in every river course, the paper calculates keystone exponents of every population in aquatic ecosystem and distinguishes the keystone species. Then the paper calculates protection sequence of species among population, the species that enjoys prior protection is the keystone one. The research result shows that the keystone species of aquatic ecosystem in the main channel of Yellow River are Coilia ectenes Jordan et Scale, Corius septentrionalis, Yellow River carp and Gymnocypris eckloni Herz.
