SWC is Natural Carrier to Achieve Harmony between Human and Nature and Against Land Degradation
SWC could imply protect and improve in rational use of soil and water resources, plan SWR as a whole scientifically, promote sustainable utilization of SWR and sustainable maintenance of eco-environment, and ecological, social and economic benefits could be extended. SWC is a bridge between human and nature, only which is done well, that all-directional harmony between human and nature could be carried out, and the problem of land degradation control could be solved radically. The harmony between human and nature is the core concept of SWC is argued. SWC is a systemic project, with technology route and regional arrangements etc., technological measures, the system and sustainable etc., soil erosion control philosophy, all could ensure improve the relation between human and nature to harmony, control land degradation effectively. The results show that from the simple SWC control ideas and measures in ancient times to control with prevention, or combining, and integrate artificial harness into ecological self-recovery in recent years, SWC could control soil erosion, protect and rational use of SWR, carry out harmony between human and nature, control land degradation effectively.
