Investigation of turbine model improving in RELAP5

The turbine model from the modified equations, which are based on hydrodynamic model of RELAP5, will result in great error in enthalpys predicted value and difficulty to satisfy the dynamic characteristics investigation of nuclear power plant under the rapidly varying duty working. So in this paper the turbine model which can represent accurately internal processes in cascade is built. Final the coupling between RELAP5 and the modified turbine model is done, and an independent coupling code which can improve RELAP5 to simulate thermodynamic system for the entire nuclear power plant is formed.
