Numerical Investigation on Temperature Fluctuation of the Parallel Triple-jet
The temperature fluctuation resulted from the difference of coolant temperature from different channals in nuclear reactor may cause thermal fatigue and heating defect of the solid structure. The parallel triple-jet model was simulated with the large eddy simulation model (LES), based on the software FLUENT. The LES is in good agreement with the experiment. The results show that many kinds of vortices in velocity field are closely related with the temperature fluctuation phenomenon. In different position, the instantaneous temperature fluctuation amplitude is different. But the frequencies mainly distribute below 10Hz,and the prominent frequency is mainly around 3Hz. With the increasing of Re number, the mixing of hot and cold fluid is delayed, and convective mixing region is enlarged. At different heights in fluid, Re numbers show different influence trends on temperature fluctuation.
