Study of evaluating transient phenomena in Hierarchical Scaling process

Scaling analysis was widely applied in both theoretical and experimental studies, for nuclear safety analysis, chemical engineering, and other research works. A new consideration for the scaling methodology, which involving the transient characteristic, such as instability problems, in the scaling process, has been introduced in this paper. Previous studies, which have been proved to be efficient for most of the applications, are mainly concerning on quasi-steady state simulation, in which time average of the properties are applied as implicit assumption. For some instance, it is benefit for identifying the system stability during performing the scaling on it. Special for those strong coupling properties in complex system, such as the passive features, frequency domain identification may provide an easier way to guarantee the system working within the same stability region.
