FLOOD MITIGATION RESEARCH AND HRA INSIGHTS OF DAYABAY INTERNAL FLOODING PRA

This paper addresses HRA research and risk insight of the internal flooding PRA (IFPRA) in DAYABAY nuclear power plant, discussing and summarizing analysis considerations associated with the response to internal flood scenarios by plant personnel, including main control room operators and auxiliary operators. Also addressed are equipment operability issues that could impact the ability of plant personnel to terminate flood events. Insights from review of actions in response to actual internal flooding events are discussed.
