Research on Data and Model-based Diagnostic Methods for Nuclear Power Plants

Safety and reliability of nuclear power plant operation are very important. In order to reduce possible nuclear disasters and operation faults, early abnormal detect and fault diagnosis are necessary. The purpose of this paper is to study on fault diagnostic methods based on data and model for nuclear power plants. First of all, condition monitoring and diagnostic systems for nuclear power plants are reviewed. Second, data-based fault diagnostic methods are presented. Third, model-based fault diagnostic methods are investigated. Fourth, combine data with model-based methods in nuclear power plants are employed in this work.
