Experimental Study on Vapor-Phase Emission Characteristics during Regeneration of Saturated Activated Coke
Emission characteristics of sulfur dioxide, fluorine and chlorine during regeneration of saturated activated coke has been investigated on fixed-bed reactor.Saturated activated coke came from desulfurization unit of power plant.Generation experiments were conducted for 2h at 200,250,300,350 and 400 respectively.Experimental results indicat ℃ ℃ ℃ ℃ ℃ e that SO2 emission is little at 200,the velocity of SO ℃ 2 emission increases with increasing temperature. As for 400,the velocity of SO ℃ 2 emission decreases with increasing retention time.Emission percent of SO2 is 97.1% for 2h,and emission percent of SO2 reaches 87.5% in the first 40 minutes.Fluorine and chlorine emission is similar to the pattern of SO2 emission, but obvious emission of fluorine and chlorine is detected compared with SO2 emission at 200. Total ℃ emission percent of fluorine and chlorine reaches 4.7% and 1.8% at 400 respectively. The ℃ results would be useful for subsequent process of sulfuric acid production
