QoS routing in wireless mesh network
In this paper, we consider the problem of providing QoS routing in backbone of wireless mesh network. Due to the dynamic nature of wireless network, it’s a challenging issue to implement QoS routing in multi-hop network. We make following major contributions in this paper. First, we propose and implement a QoS providing framework based on DiffServ model. Second, we implement bandwidth and ETX measurement module in backbone of wireless mesh network. Third, we design and implement a bandwidth-constrained shortest routing calculation algorithm. Fourth, we implement the QoS routing protocol in our test bed and a lot of test work has been done to test the performance of the protocol.
