Design and Analysis of Two-tier Location Management Scheme for Wireless Sensor Networks
Mobility management for moving objects in wireless sensor network is a critical component for many sensor applications. Mobility management becomes a significant issue as many related techniques are maturely developed, such as data routing, localization, and object tracking. In this paper, we propose the two-tier location management scheme and develop analytic model to compare the two-tier location management scheme against the traditional central storage scheme. Our developed models can be used for measuring the detailed performance of related schemes.
