Aero-engine Control Design Using Two Degrees-of-freedom H∞ Approach
The method of two degrees-of-freedom H∞ loop-shaping was applied to aero-engine control system in this paper, which could improve the tracking performance while maintaining stability robustness rather than the traditional one degree-of-freedom robust controller. A method to select the weight function in the loop-shaping procedure was proposed to select the desired shaping weights automatically coded up with MATLAB which ensured the system performance specifications. Meanwhile, a constant matrix was introduced to transfigure the control loop in order to make the output of the object and the desired responses exactly match at steady-state. Then the hardware in-the-loop simulation based on the real-time simulation platform was carried out, the results showed that the designed two degrees-of-freedom H∞ loop-shaping controller offered good performance and robustness properties, and it was proved that the methodology is suitable for aero-engine multivariable control.
