A Study of Development Trend of Carbon Financial Products in China
Since Kyoto Protocol came into force, the carbon trade market has already developed into one of the markets with the biggest potential and vigor in the world, and the carbon financial market accompanying it has also gained fast development. With the constant development of the Chinese carbon trade, the number of Chinese enterprises participating in the carbon trade market is increasing gradually, so the financial institutions of China should actively participate in the carbon trade, offering relevant finance services for the enterprises and individuals. The key for the financial institutions of China to occupy a leading position in the future financial development is to hold the development trend of the carbon finance, and offer more carbon financial products from such respects as finance lease, derivatives of the carbon finance, and intermediary service of carbon insurance and finance according to the market demand.
