Multidisciplinary Modeling in Detailed Design for MDO of Complex Product

Implementation of MDO will firstly face difficulties of multidisciplinary partition of the complex product. How to ensure consistency in multidisciplinary concurrent design is a puzzle too. Conflicts generated by concurrent running of multimodels must be coordinated. Aim at the problems mentioned above, multidisciplinary modeling technique for MDO of complex product is proposed and the master model-oriented, multidisciplinary concurrent modeling routine is given. The process model for multi-level decomposing and mapping of complex product design is constructed. Conflicts of multi-models are solved by means of consistency rules and collaborative running strategies. The multi-level application architecture of multidisciplinary modeling technique is established by the object-oriented programming method. Based on the integration of optimization technology and CAD/CAE technologies, collaborative simulation and optimization of multi-models can be realized certainly. Also, this technique is used in MDO of car-body, the dynamic interaction and sharing of the design information really come true. The product design level is improved effectively.
