Realization of 3D Visualization of Complex Object FDTD Modeling Based on OpenGL
As an important numerical method,Finite Difference-Time Domain (FDTD) has been widely used recently in the calculation of electrical magnetic scattering of complex objects. For the problems of calculation of electromagnetic scattering encountered in the three-dimensional FDTD modeling,based on the analysts of the graphic characteristics and the nature of data structure,according to the depth buffer mechanism of OpenGL,a new plotting method was presented in this paper,which adopt polygon depth offset modification in the refined hidden-image removal. In this way the plotting speed is increased and high efficient hidden-image removal can be achieved,also the visual effect of mesh graphics for FDTD simulation is enhanced evidently. Several examples indicate that the approach described in this paper is effectual
