Analysis on Prediction of Long-term Clock Error of Computer Time
The principle of computer time is briefly introduced. The comparison between the computer time and the UTC time provided by GPS is made as the experiment scheme to get the clock error of the computer time. The experiment was carried on continually for 90 days and data of 175 periods of time were collected. After fitting analysis of long-term change of clock error,7th Sum of Sin Functions Model, which has the best fit precision was used to simulate the long-term change of clock error. Then, three different models were respectively used to predict the simulative data. Analysis shows that,if use known data of 10 days on the next 80 days for prediction only, the clock error could be reduced from 21.8s to 0.1S,effectively reduced its impact on scientific research and daily life.
