Application of Targeted Deconvolution Technique to Suppress Peg-leg Multiple
In the exploration of lithologic hydrocarbon reservoir, the influence of peg-leg multiple on the research of reservoir can not be ignored. This multiple made the amplitude, frequency and phase of reflection for the target horizons distort, and is harder to be discovered and identified. Predictive deconvolution attenuate multiples is based on the correlation of primary and multiples. It is successfully used for one-dimensional model to eliminate short path multiples. I present here a modified deconvolution that targets successive bounces individually and adapts the relevant operator to optimally attenuate each bounce in turn. Though a model analysis,we know the thickness of high-speed layer which generates internal multiple. Then with this method we can attenuate peg-leg multiple elimination, which can be distinguished.
