The Improvement of MixColumns0 in the AES
AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) is a new generation of advanced data encryption standard,which has been applied widely in the process of encryption and decryption with its high-efficiency,concision and high safety. In order to reduce the implementation complexity of the AES algorithm and improve its efficiency,this paper analyzes the MixColumnsO function,the most time-consuming round in the round transformation of AES,and then proposes a new method that improves the function of MixColumnsQ,namely replaces the operation of xtimeO,which is the main operation in the MixColumnsO function,with the newly defined function of MulO and calls its subroutines,eventually enhances the efficiency of AES in the implementation procedure. The experimental results demonstrate that the implementation efficiency of the improved AES algorithm is better than the original
