Application of Cooperative Learning in Practice-oriented Instruction in Higher Vocational Education
Higher vocational education is an important part of higher education system in China. Cultivation of vocational competency is the main goal of higher vocational education. Cooperative learning has played a significant role in improving students academic performance and helping students to enhance their affective quality. Cooperative learning is also one of the useful ways to cultivate vocational competency. But it is still uncertain how to implement cooperative leanring into practice. So cooperative learning in programming course design is designed in this paper. In this paper cooperative learning is divided into three phases which are the phases of preparation,implementation and evaluation. The design result has been applied into practice. It has been proved the kind of course design could improve learners vocational competency effectively.
