Beyond the Rationality — A Study of Artistic Treatment in GUI Design
As the esthetic level of people is increasing,there are growing artistic requirements to the software interface. The icon,as an important component of GUI design,has become more diversified. Combining icon with kinds of means of artistic expression will endow it with artistic life and rich cultural connotation,which makes the icon be more individualized and easy to be identified. Among these means,borrowing from traditional artistic is an effective method Beginning from the review of the status quota of GUI design,exemplified by GUI icon design,this paper attempts to explore how to employ the artistic language of the print works in hope to increase the number of expressive means of GUI design,and to provide GUI designers with a useful reference in widening the design ideas.
