The Application of Web Search in Examination System
Web-based examination system plays an important role in building digital campus. Its a popular tool which brings convenience to both students and teachers. However,there are still many challenges facing webbased examination system,especially the setting up of test database. No means is currently available to automatically construct the test database. In this paper,considering the abundance of test questions in web,we introduce a model about how to use web search technology to gather test questions from web pages and then semi-automatically import them to the test database. We detail the design and implementation of this model and introduce how it works. A prototype is designed in windows and we set up the experiment environment using a web server through IIS. The experiment results show that this model can significantly improve the efficiency of building up test database in examination system.
