Seismic Wave Field Forward Modeling of Wedge Reservoir

摘要：

This paper talks about how to use PC computer to realize seismic wave field forward modeling of wedge reservoir,we discuss the oil-water replace laws based on the variation of porosity. The laws can guide us to interpret the variation of energy in simulation seismic records. We set up a wedge reservoir filled with oil-water and gas-water respectively and use acoustic wave and elastic wave to simulate seismic records separately and compare the rsults of the two different methods. We use actual data of channel sand to simulate using elastic wave only. Compared with ray tracing mehtod,this method using wave equation can get plenty of wave field information and the simulation result is more similar to the real seismic records.
