Research on Transmission Loss of Seismic Wave through Thin Interbed

This article,based on reflection and transmission coefficients formula of Layered media,derives reflection and transmission coefficients formula of thin absorbed layer. Then,the article obtain regression equation by which compressional velocity can be calculated from porosity,clay content and depth,and give formulas by which shear velocity,density and quality factor can be calculated from compressional velocity .Then,the article establishes thin reservoir model,and obtain singleshot records through simulation,and then analysize characteristics of records when reservoir parameters are different Based on the above study,the article establishes a set of thin interbed models whose parameters are the same except number of layers and another set of thin interbed models whose parameters are the same except mudstone layer thickness,and simulate records of these models to analyze impact of number of layers and layer thickness on loss of seismic wave passing through thin interbed.
