LIGNIN PURIFICATION IN BLACK LIQUOR BY BIOTECHNOLOGY

After the degradation of carbohydrate with enzymolysis and the conversion from the degraded product into alcohol with fermentation, the lignin in the black liquor could be purified. The lignin after purification could be used better, and the purification process could prevent secondary pollution during the multipurpose use of the lignin. The test result showed that the degradation rate reached a balance when the dosage of complex enzyme was 20ml. The degradation rate of soda pulping process black liquor (SPBL) reached 71.44%, and 66.98% of alkali-oxygen sulfite process black liquor (ASBL). The removal percent of the total sugar went to 45%, and 52.2 ml alcohol could be got from 1L SPBL after fermentation; the data of ASBL was 50% and 48.2ml respectively. The purity of lignin in the black liquor rised after the biotechnology treatment. The ratio of lignin content in the organic matters in SPBL could reach to 76.4%, and 79.56% in ASBL. And the ratio of lignin precipitated from the SPBL and ASBL at pH 3 in the organic matter could reach to 84.23% and 81.23% respectively. So the lignin had been purified to some degrees.
