APPLICATION OF LIGNIN-MODIFIED PHENOLIC RESIN IN THE LIGHT WEIGHT PRINTING PAPER

摘要：

Lignin-phenol-formaldehyde resin (LPF) was produced by the condensation reaction of lignin separated from paper-making black liquor, phenol and formaldehyde. LPF was used in the process of paper making. The bulk density, whiteness, opacity, tensile index, folding number and property of yellowing were tested. The results showed that the properties of bulk density, tensile index and folding number were improved by the addition of LPF. The whiteness and property of yellowing were not much effected.
