PERACETIC ACID BLEACHING OF SODA-AQ WHEAT-STRAW PULP
As a novel organic oxidant, peracetic acid (Pa) was used to bleach soda-AQ wheat-straw pulp. The optimal conditions of Pa single stage bleaching were peracetic acid dosage 3.0%, EDTA 0.5%, time 80min, pH value 6, temperature 60℃ and pulp consistency 12%. The effect of peracetic acid bleaching was better than that of hydrogen peroxide (P) bleaching. The effect of PaP bleaching sequence was better than that of PPa bleaching sequence. Brightness of the bleached pulp in PaP bleaching sequence reached 73.8% ISO.
