RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PHYSICHEMICAL PROPERTIES OF SURFACTANT AND DEINKING EFFICIENCY
Surfactant plays an important role in flotation deinking process of waste paper by reducing the ink surface tension, wetting and dispersing ink, penetration, emulsification and ink removing1. In the present work, the surfactant physiochemical properties, which are related to deinking efficiency, were measured. The effect of the surface charge and foaming ability on the deinking efficiency of surfactants was investigated. The correlation among these physico-chemical properties and relationship between them and the deinking efficiency were determined by using the numerical analysis method of least squares. This result may be help to select and apply the deinking agent.
