SAVING REFINING ENERGY OF POPLAR APMP PULP BY XYLANASE
Xylanase was used to treat poplar APMP pulp to save refining energy. The effects of xylanase treatment on pulp physical properties were studied. The results showed that xylanase treatment can save effectively refining energy, improve optical properties without obvious damage to pulp strength properties including breaking length, bursting index and tear index. The color reversion of poplar APMP was also restrained.
