IMPROVEMENT OF THE PROPERTIES OF POPLAR APMP TREARED BY ENZYME
Improvement of the properties of poplar APMP treated by pectinase and xylanase was studied. The optimal conditions of pectinase treating were pectinase dosage 20 IU·g-1, reaction time 60 min, temperature 50oC, pH value 5.0 and pulp concentration 10%. The optimal conditions of xylanase treating were xylanase dosage 25 IU·mL-1, reaction time 90 min, temperature 50oC, pH value 7.0 and pulp concentration 10%. Compared to the untreated pulp, fiber qualities and properties of treated pulp improved. Contents of fiber bundle and fines decreased. Breaking length, bursting index and tearing index increased respectively by 7.64%, 9.96% and 10.71%.
