RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN VISCOSITY AND RECYCLING OF PINUS KESIYA PULP
In this paper, the pinus kesiya pulp with different viscosities was obtained from conventional kraft pulping and kraft pulping at low temperature under the premise of the similar hardness, and the viscosities of them were 1123 mL·g-1 and 1313 mL·g-1 respectively. Then the handsheets were treated with dry heat aging and the simulation of pulp recycling was investigated. In addition, the relationship between the pulp viscosity and recycling times of pulp was studied. The results showed that the viscosity and water retention value of both pulps decreased with the increment of recycling time, and the content of α-cellulose increased firstly and then decreased. However, compared with kraft pulp, the recycling characteristic of the pulp with high viscosity from kraft pulping at low temperature was better. Therefore, the high viscosity pulp from kraft pulping at low-temperature had more advantages in pulp recycling.
