STUDIES ON WET-LAID PROCESS OF POLYOLEFIN FIBER

摘要：

A special bicomponent polyolefin fiber was introduced and used in wet-laid papermaking. The performance of this kind of fibers was introduced in the paper. The bicomponent fibers have special characteristics such as natural crimping. The fibers can conglutinate at the temperature that one component melt and the other doesn’t because the melting points of the two components are different. The fibers are used increasingly abroad in the wet-laid nonwoven industry for its low density and length.
