UTILIATION OF CELLULOSIC FIBER FOR PREPARATION OF HOME FURNISHING PRODUCTS (HFPs)

The Home Furnishing Products（HFPs）was made from nature bagasse fiber by the pulp molding equipment. The mechanical properties of HFPs were analyzed in the study. Meanwhile, the surface morphology of HFPs was observed by the method of AFM. Results indicated that the maximum tensile stress decreased markedly with an increase of flame retardant and the optimum amount is 30％. More pressure can improve the mechanical properties and 30KN is an appropriate choice.Too long drying time and too high drying temperature have bad influence on the mechanical properties. The surfaces of HFPs were less troughs under high drying temperature by AFM analysis.
