STUDIES ON MOTTLE OF PRINT PAPER

摘要：

This paper investigates how to evaluate mottle in the prints of different kinds of paper with different smoothness such as colored offset newsprint, art paper and single coated paper by means of PTS DOMAS module. The results show that four kinds of mottle are all useful measures to foreshow print quality, and the module for objective quantitative assessment is found to be a better way to assess mottle.
