ANALYSING AND TRIAL-MANUFACTURING COLOR LASER PRINTING BASE PAPER

Component of color laser printing paper was analyzed in this work. Results of electron microscopy showed that the raw material of printing paper was poplar and the pulping process was bleached sulfate process. Furthermore, ash was analyzed by chemical method and X-ray diffraction method. It indicated that the filler was calcium carbonate, the retention and drainage aid was starch, the sizing method was AKD neutral sizing process and the synergist was PAE. Better properties of self-made paper sheet were achieved with wood pulp, reed pulp and whole stalk kenaf pulp.
