EFFECT OF SOLVENT ON THE LUMINESCENT PROPERTY OF THE FLUORESCENT INKJET INK
Fluorescent inkjet ink is composed of solvent, resin, phosphor and assistant agent,, and solvent was one of the main components in the fluorescent inkjet ink, which had an important effect on the luminescent property. In order to study the effect of solvent on the luminescent property of fluorescent inkjet ink, the inkjet ink samples had been prepared with different solvents, the fluorescence intensity had been tested, the fluorescence quantum yields had been calculated and the fluorescent lifetime had been measured. The results indicated that the polarity of the solvents has an important influence on the fluorescence spectrum and the fluorescence quantum yields of the fluorescent ink-jet ink, and has less impact on the fluorescence lifetime. The surface tension and viscosity of the solvents affect the inks’ directly when the other components are fixed.
