Empowerment,Job-based Psychological Ownership and Organizational Citizenship Behaviors
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between empowerment and organizational citizenship behavior.Moreover,we examined the mediating effect of psychological ownership of job.Data were collected from a sample of 298 supervisor-subordinate dyads working in high-tech companies in China.The results revealed that empowerment iS positively related to organizational citizenship behavior.Moreover,job-based psychological ownership partially mediates the relationship between empowerment and overall OCB/OCB-O,and fully mediates the relationship between empowerment and OCB-I.
