STUDY ON SAFETY IN TREATMENT, TRANSPORTATION AND INJECTION OF CARBON DIOXIDE INJILIN OILFIELD
Carbon dioxide geological storage may be one of the effective measures to mitigating greenhouse gas emissions that is being studied worldwide. Carbon dioxide enhanced oil recovery is a relatively mature technology in petroleum industry by which the gas is injected into an oil reservoir to achieve miscible displacement. Carbon dioxide miscible displacement inJilin oilfield involves production, purification, liquefaction, transportation and injection to oil wells and carbon dioxide undertakes phase variation in these processes. This paper analyses the safety problems and the causes in dehydration and purification, compression and liquefaction, transportation and injection according to the present situation of these processes. Some well-targeted, technically feasible and economically reasonable safety countermeasure suggestions are put forward to enhance safety management, safety operation and potential treatment. This study has some practical significance to safely implement carbon dioxide miscible displacement in Jilin oilfield.
